We are pleased to announce that we shall be holding our first WiSe Master course in England at the University of Exeter, Falmouth campus.

We have assembled a really top-flight panel of experts to deliver the course, which will be an essential event for existing WiSe Standard members, especially those with a strong interest in commercial wildlife watching.

The following experts are scheduled to attend and deliver modules on the following range of species and interests:

Basking sharks: Dr Matthew Witt (University of Exeter) and Colin Speedie (WiSe)

Cetaceans: Dr Peter Evans (UCNW Bangor and Sea Watch Foundation)

Birds: Paul St Pierre (RSPB)

Seals: Powell Strong (Pembrokeshire College & WiSe) Sue Sayer (Cornwall Seal Group & WiSe)

Marine turtles: Professor Brendan Godley (University of Exeter)

Wildlife Law and you: PC Del Allerton-Baldwin

There will be an opportunity for all to ask questions of the experts in an afternoon session, which will also include a presentation from the Cornwall Code Group.

Attendance will cost £75.00 + VAT per individual, and a full VAT invoice will be provided.

All attendees will receive the latest WiSe Codes of Conduct, plus a flag, Master stickers and logos for use on promotional materials, plus an upgraded Master designation on the WiSe website.
