Based in the Salcombe estuary, Whitestrand Boat Hire provides self-drive boat hire within the estuary. Also, our skipper runs the "Calypso" which can take up to 10 passengers. Two hour mackerel fishing trips beyond the "bar"are ideal for families, and longer deep sea fishing trips can be arranged for hardier folk which take in the coast towards Prawle Point and Bolt Tail, and go further out to sea.

Being at sea is a great opportunity to view wildlife, and seals and occasionally porpoises are found within the harbour. Whitestrand Boat Hire is keen to encourage sustainable boating and sensible wildlife viewing.
